Trump pushes malaria drug again despite lack of scientific proof that it works against coronavirus

President Donald Trump again promotes the use of hydroxychloroquine, a malaria drug, to combat the coronavirus even though the drug hasn’t undergone clinical trials to treat COVID-19.

When a reporter asked the U.S. top infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci what he thinks about the drug’s use as a coronavirus treatment, Trump stepped in and did not let Fauci answer the question.
