The Running Man – Triumph or Train Wreck?
With Glen Powell set to play The Running Man in Edgar Wright’s upcoming remake- It was Arnold Schwarzenegger who first brought us the yellow-suited action hero in live action. Directed by Paul Michael Glaser in 1987, The Running Man follows Ben Richards- a former cop who has been placed in person for a murder he did not commit. In order to get his freedom back, Ben is forced to participate in a game of death as he battles brutal killers in a game-show style television exhibition in order to entertain viewers, and control the population of local prisons. This is a movie that is widely loved for it’s nostalgic comfort and Arnold’s peak physical performance being on display. It’s a movie we love, and we want to know if you love it too!
