Asian Americans Speak Out: Countering the Rise in Anti-Asian Hate

A report showed that from 2019 to 2020, anti-Asian hate crimes increased 149% nationwide. But that’s just the national average. In New York, anti-Asian hate crimes went up 833 percent. Things were so bad that last May, the NYPD created an Asian Hate Crime Task Force.
