This Abortion Case Could ‘Galvanize’ Women Ahead of Midterm Elections
Congresswoman Barbara Lee got a backalley abortion as a teenager. In December, she joined activists outside the Supreme Court as they heard a case that could effectively outlaw abortion after 15 weeks. Lee told Vice News, “I describe this moment as an assault on women.”
