“Caterpillar” Footnotes

The collabo between Royce da 5’9” and Eminem goes back to their early Motor City days. They met when Marshal caught Royce opening for Usher and connected as young MCs in the duo Bad Meets Evil. They intermittently connected through the years, and their chemistry is always strong. Royce’s new ‘Book of Ryan’ album features “Caterpillar.” James Larese, who directed the video, says that “bar for bar there is no better lyrical duo.” Vevo chatted with Royce and Larese to learn some fun facts about the shoot and the duo’s history.
