Protester Bob Chan, who was seen being pulled into the grounds of a Chinese consulate and beaten, holds a news conference with MPs Iain Duncan Smith and Afzal Khan. Earlier in the day British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly said the treatment of a protester was ‘unacceptable’ while the Consul-General said demonstrators had stormed its grounds.
