Saving South India’s Below-Sea-Level Farms



Kuttunad is one of the few places where farms exist below sea level. Rice grown here is essential for South Indian feasts, so farmers are turning to ancestral knowledge to adapt to the challenges of climate change and industrial pollution threatening the ecosystem.
