On May 14, a white supremacist drove more than three hours to Buffalo determined to wreak havoc on the Black community he’d been stalking.
He targeted Tops Friendly Market, effectively the only grocery store in the City’s predominantly Black east side. He methodically shot and killed 10 people.
We spent the day with students, teachers, and staff at Tapestry Charter school who are just beginning to try and move forward after their community was targeted in a racist attack.
