Reports show he was paid $25,000 over 15 installments for his cooperation in investigations, including the killing of FBG Duck. However, Trenches News denies these claims, instead stating that he made around $25K a month from his work and challenges the official assertion with requests for receipts and paper trails. Despite his controversial positioning as an informant, he expressed no regret over his decision. His motivation, he stated, came from a desire to fundamentally change his community for the better and stand against criminal operations. FBG Butta spoke out against Trenches News, claiming he infiltrated gangs.
