In a recent interview with VladTV, rapper Young Bleed opened up about his departure from Tech N9ne’s Strange Music label. He revealed that his exit was driven by broken promises and a poorly managed album rollout. Young Bleed, who initially gained success with Priority Records, decided to go independent after his second album. He signed with Select-O-Hits in Memphis, Tennessee, and achieved notable success, selling over 10,000 records and earning $100,000.

Despite experiencing some financial stability, Young Bleed felt the lack of consistent support, likening it to banks offering loans only when you have money. His loyalty to his team kept him from switching labels despite offers from other major labels. Following this, he collaborated with C-Bo’s West Coast Mafia Records and worked with Roy Jones Jr., constantly seeking the right platform to eclipse his past accomplishments. Throughout his journey, Young Bleed emphasized the importance of loyalty and maintaining strong relationships within the industry.
