Dustin Lynch applied to Nashville’s Lipscomb University because it was close to The Bluebird Cafe, the legendary spot where great songwriters share their new stuff on a regular basis. At the tender age of 15, Lynch actually performed their as well, a strong indication that he knew his future was in music. Since dropping his debut “Cowboys and Angels” in 2012, the Tullahoma, TN native released a string of hits that includes “Where It’s At (Yep Yep),” “She Cranks My Tractor,” “Seein’ Red,” and “Mind Reader.” His latest video is “Small Town Boy.” In our rapid-fire interview, he answered questions about hunting, fishing, his favorite ice cream flavor, and Garth Brooks.
