Charles Goldsmith’s journey from high school football captain and state wrestling champion to outlaw biker is a tale of drastic turns. Despite his athletic prowess, a slight GPA deficit derailed his college scholarship dreams. An unfortunate incident at the University of Wisconsin, where he tore his ligament, marked the end of his sports career. Life took another turn with fatherhood at a young age, compelling him from sports to a different path. Goldsmith embraced the ‘greaser’ lifestyle, reminiscent of the characters from the movie “Grease.” His new circle introduced him to high-stakes crime—stealing furniture, including high-priced refrigerators, netting over $250,000. Eventually, he faced probation for concealing stolen property. His association with fellow greasers naturally transitioned to motorcycles, leading him to buy a Harley-Davidson Low Rider in 1980. Ignoring his wife’s plea, Goldsmith joined the Sinners Motorcycle Club, swiftly rising to become its president by age 30.
