Rapper Yung Joc recently sat down with Shawn Prez to discuss Christian “King” Combs’s diss track aimed at 50 Cent. Joc acknowledged Combs’s motivation to stand up for his father, Diddy, stating, “I salute him for putting that track out.” However, Joc critiqued the song’s execution, noting that Combs’s delivery was “kind of lackluster” and that it didn’t pack a significant punch in the lyrical department. Joc elaborated, recognizing the necessity for compelling and powerful content in rap battles, suggesting that Combs’s effort fell short. While understanding the familial loyalty behind the track, Joc questioned whether it was wise for Diddy to allow its release, as it puts his children directly in the “line of fire.” The rapper also remarked on 50 Cent’s reaction, noting that despite 50’s reputation for being aggressive, he mostly “laughed it off,” indicating he didn’t take it too seriously. Overall, Joc implied that while the move was bold, it might not have been the most strategic in escalating rap beef.
