US business activity inched up to a 26-month high in June, its highest since April 2022, with S&P Global’s data also showing declining prices paid as the disinflation trend seems to be confirmed. S&P Global Ratings’s chief US economist, Satyam Panday, tells Reuters the world’s biggest economy is on track for about 2.5% growth this quarter.
