Boosie estimated that at least 50% of the men he encountered in prison were there because of situations involving women—particularly emphasizing that this was especially true for White inmates. He remarked that many stories he heard involved crimes of passion or actions taken to impress a woman, ranging from violent clashes to thefts. Boosie candidly described how some men ended up making life-altering decisions driven by jealousy, heartbreak, or the urge to prove something to significant others. He also touched on instances where men committed crimes due to the influence of their partners or to escape derogatory labels from them.
