Comparison of the life of the individual in the states to the soldier on the front lines of Korea. Despite the truce talks fighting is still going on and we still have a serious need for men and machines. The contrast between their life and the life of the soldier should bring the picture closer.

From 1950 to 1963, the U.S. Army produced THE BIG PICTURE television show. Part history lesson, part recruiting tool and part propaganda, the show was widely embraced by the public. The show chronicled nearly every aspect of the U.S. military’s history and Cold War capabilities.
