Tony Rock opened up about his career trajectory and notable collaborations with Will Smith. Rock, who initially gained traction on the New York comedy circuit, eventually broke out at the Montreal Comedy Festival. This exposure led to a holding deal with UPN and a subsequent move to Los Angeles. In L.A., Rock’s career flourished with roles such as the main character’s best friend on the TV show “All of Us,” which was executive produced by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. Rock described the experience as “incredible,” highlighting the supportive yet hands-on involvement of Will and Jada on the set. Additionally, Rock shared an interesting tidbit about his involvement in Smith’s movie “Hitch.” Although his scenes were eventually cut, he still valued the opportunity and the rapport he built with Smith.
